Class Exercise 15: About Pages similar to my website
I am comparing the About page of the 2 following websites:
Accessing the about page on Arbico website was a mission, as it is hard to find and I it is on the help and contact category.
The About page of Arbico website is long which makes it unpleasant to read along with some grammar mistakes and a basic image on the top. The information written in there is also very bias.
NZXT about page is accessible from the header on the main page, which is a standard and predicted place for the about page.
NZXT about page clearly states who is the CEO and gives his identity, this can give the visitors peace of mind and make the website reliable and trusted.
Along with stating the CEO, NZXT also gives small pieces of text consisting of Q&A which summarize information about the company and makes it easy to read. I think that this is better than what Arbico have done with their about page.
NZXT knows that visitors that are interested to know about the company might be interested to work in it, therefore an option to join the team on the About page is available along with an option to email the CEO and join the community.
