Title tag is an HTML element which provide the title of the webpage in a search engine results page, its principal function is to inform users and search engines about what to expect from the web page (Hardwick, 2020).
Example of a title tag:
Alt and Title tags have an important role in improving SEO as images cannot be interpreted by search engines or other robots, but they can play an important role in how people interpret a particular web page. Alt tags address this by supplying text that search engines can read. Images with correctly written alt text contribute to how a page is indexed and where it ranks when Googlebot or other search engine crawlers check it (BigCommerce, n.d.).
