Class Exercise 21: Database Definition
Definition:
A database is an organized collection of information that has been structured for easy access, administration, and updating. Computer databases often store aggregations of data records or files containing information, such as sales transactions, customer data, financial information, and product information (Lutkevich and Hughes, 2021).
A database is a structured collection of information or data that is often kept digitally in a computer system. A database management system is generally in charge of a database (DBMS). The data and the DBMS, as well as the applications that are linked with them, are together referred to as a database system, which is frequently simplified to just database (Oracle, 2022).
