How can an E-Commerce website be built:

Even though there are software and websites that assist on building a website, it is recommended to have a decent knowledge of programming languages and how to use them (Lambden, 2021).

Programming languages used to build an E-Commerce website:

According to developers.dev these are the best and most used programming languages that are used to build a website:

• HTML: HyperText Markup Language is a language that displays applications and web pages in web browsers, and it tells the browser what to display. However, it does not control the visual design such as colours, fonts and other design elements (What is HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language)?, n.d.). 

• CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets is the language that give the website its design and layout. Along with HTML, CSS is also important for designing an E-Commerce website (What is CSS, and why is it important? | BigCommerce, n.d.).

• Java is a high-level programming language and because it is extremely safe, user friendly, simple to access and flexible, it allows smooth and secure transactions for customers when placing their orders (Java is Now Most Effective Solution for Today's e-commerce Needs, 2021).

• JavaScript it is one of the core programming languages for the WWW (World Wide Web) alongside HTML and CSS, and just how they both give structure and style to a webpage; JS allows interaction to users in a webpage (Reactor, 2021).

• Python is a high-level programming that is used in many famous websites. It is stable and secure and also easy to learn, which makes the cost of its maintenance low to E-Commerce companies.(What is Python? Executive Summary, 2022)
