(Work in Progress...) Class Exercise 7: Advantages of meta tags

A user might decide which website to visit depending on its description, title and content on the Search engine results page (SERP), which is why meta tags may be important as they impact how a website appears on the SERP (Are HTML Meta Tags Important?, 2021).

For example, DMU website appear on the Google's SERP as such:

A short description of what the webpage is for and some of its content. Therefore, meta tags make a webpage look genuine and safe, and more importantly it shows to the user that the webpage is relevant to his query.
